Waterfalls, babbling creeks and lots of breathtaking vistas set the scene for our plein air painting retreat in Dillard, GA (less than 100 miles from Atlanta, Greenville and Asheville).Eight students retreat in an antique-filled cottage with a screened-in porch centered around a fireplace along with Fallon, Founder & Director, and the featured artist and oil instructor. This retreat has the availability for 8 students TOTAL - 4 all inclusive spots (with the exception of travel and painting supplies) and 4 commuter spots for attendees who desire to sleep elsewhere at night (at a slightly lower rate). Two all inclusive attendees will each have a private room, but will share a bathroom; therefore, must be female. The other two will ideally be friends (2 males or 2 females) sharing a room and bathroom... and one of the best views in the home. There are no gender restrictions on commuters. The small group number allows for ample one on one instruction time each day. You can expect some guided (moderate) hiking and exploring of this antique rich town as a group in the late afternoons along with evening deep stretch yoga instruction to help us wind down. Our goal is to create a memorable mountainous experience where the painting, fine wine and conversations flow... by the fireplace in the crisp mountain air of northern Georgia... our FIRST time taking Field & Flow on the road!!
