When you have 2 other mini abstracts from your soiree centerpieces, you keep going with the same vibe from Day 1 of the 30 in 30.
I actually really did like this abstract and had already varnished it in order to sell. (FYI: varnish is a special liquid protector brushed over a dried piece in order to keep it safe from dust and light. I use Gamvar by Gamblin.)
I am a member of a Facebook group called Painting Best Practices and learned that all you have to do to wipe off varnish is to take a cloth and rub mineral spirits (think Turpentine) over the piece. Viola! Ready for more painting!
Introducing "Deux Huitres"
which means "2 oysters" in French. I thought that this was an appropriate title since this is a painting of 2 oysters over an abstract inspired by my French wedding bouquet. And yes, I had to Google "oysters in French". (I'll stick with painting and leave the art of learning a foreign language to the more auditory learners.)
